Tyler Wadsworth, M.D.

Dr. Tyler Wadsworth practices Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine at Sports Medicine Consultants, PC in West St. Louis County. He is certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Family Practice and Sports Medicine. He completed a post-graduate fellowship in Sports Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Tyler Wadsworth is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and a charter member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. He has written chapters in three sports medicine textbooks and articles in a number of scientific publications. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Eastern Missouri Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. Dr. Tyler Wadsworth serves as team physician for a local high school and for the Arthritis Foundation’s Joints In Motion Marathon Training Team.

Dr. Wadsworth's clinical activities include treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal problems, including sport and work related injuries, such as spine, knee, shoulder, and other injuries. He has special interest in sports-related medical issues, such as sports nutrition, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. Dr. Tyler Wadsworth has performed acupuncture for over 15 years, providing acupuncture to individuals with pain-related problems. Additionally, he provides fitness assessments and exercise prescription for patients interested in improving their health through exercise. Dr. Tyler Wadsworth prescribes individualized exercise programs as a component of a comprehensive plan to treat back pain, diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol, arthritis, and other exercise-responsive medical conditions.
